Due to continued growth in the last 2 years we are looking for a full time Payroll Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a positive, organised and details-oriented person who manages their time effectively and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong IT skills & some basic payroll experience are required; however all in-house systems training will be provided.
Our client base is made up of a range of SME’s and includes, manufacturers, a wide range of professional service firms, IT developers, property investors and developers, hospitality businesses and not for profit entities. You will be in direct contact with clients face-to-face, over the phone/video meetings and by email, and so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Accurate data entry into Payroll database of sensitive and confidential client information in a timely manner and process payroll efficiently
- Maintain master payroll records for Real Time Information purposes
- Dealing with client enquiries in relation to payroll, benefit and expenses
- Upload of pension files to the relevant providers
- Completing payroll journals
- General database maintenance
Skills and experience
Experience of working within an accountancy practice is preferable with previous experience of both elements of the role.
Good communication skills are essential for dealing with clients, colleagues and in your written work.
Good organisational skills are also required as you may be working with multiple clients at any time.
