Sandra is a new addition to our Private Client team and joined WMT in 2023. Sandra has been advising High Net Worth private clients for over 20 years (17 years of which were spent at a Big 4 accountancy firm based in London) where she looked after a wide range of globally mobile individuals.
As a Chartered Certified Accountant and STEP affiliate (Society of Trust and Estate Planner), Sandra provides inclusive personal, business and trust advice that helps clients plan for the future.
Sandra has many years of experience advising on inheritance tax planning. She works with individuals to advise on their options to manage, reduce or eliminate a future inheritance tax liability. Sandra is also skilled in advising on trusts, including the set-up and use of trusts (UK and offshore) as well as trust administration, upkeep of trust pools and estate planning.
Sandra also has extensive experience in UK and Non-UK Resident Tax planning and advising clients on the personal tax implications of moving to or from the UK for personal or business reasons, remittance tax planning, bank account structuring, domicile reviews, review of offshore trust deeds to assess the tax implications on UK resident beneficiaries as well as the UK tax implications on the offshore trust. She applies a holistic approach when advising business owners to ensure she understand the business needs from a commercial perspective when incorporating personal intentions and when advising on succession planning.
Outside of work – Sandra is a trained qualified kundalini yoga instructor. She loves singing and leads the music group at her church. She enjoys cooking and cooks a wide range of cuisines.
