Corporate Tax Team

Gemma is a qualified accountant and tax adviser, having gained both her ACA and CTA qualifications and completed her training in the Corporate Tax team at accountancy firm, BDO. Gemma has also worked in-house as a member of the tax team at Dixons Retail plc.

Working both independently and with the audit and accounts teams, Gemma reviews client corporate tax returns. She then advises clients on tax payments and submission deadlines to optimise their tax positions and make the most of available tax reliefs. She enjoys the variety of technical challenges that her work involves and being able to communicate technical tax issues to clients in a language they understand.

Outside of work family is the main priority for Gemma. An avid Leicester City Football Club supporter Gemma likes to attend matches with her husband and young son. To relax Gemma enjoys a good book or getting absorbed in an intricate cross-stitch project.
