Business Club – The science of persuasion
Persuasion is the action or process of influencing another person to do or believe in something.
In business, whether consciously or not, persuasion is a daily occurrence. Whether talking to an employee, fellow owner or director, a client or even a friend, there are regular discussions where you want the answer to be ‘yes’. But how do we reach that outcome quickly and easily?
At the next Business Club, we will explore bestselling author, Dr Robert Cialdini’s, 6 scientifically proven, universal principles of persuasion.
Used correctly and ethically, these principles can be employed to make small, practical and sometimes costless changes that can lead to big differences in in the way we influence and persuade others.
The session will be hosted by City Cruises’ Matthew Beckwith, who will show a short video on the topic and lead a discussion on how each of the principles could be applied within your own business.
