Business Club: Creating inclusive cultures
How can business owners create an inclusive culture so that all their staff can bring their whole-selves to work every day and thrive?
At the next Business Club on Thursday 7th March we will be joined by strategist, Teresa Norman, to find out how.
Teresa works as an organisation and change specialist with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Her experience includes FTSE 100 companies, service companies, unions, local authorities and professional practices.
Prior to working as an independent, she gained over 15 years’ experience in the Civil Service, including 8 years in the Cabinet Office working as part of both the Prime Minister’s strategy unit and organisational change team.
During the session Teresa will draw on her varied experience to discuss the business case for diversity and inclusion. Using the ‘MINDSPACE model’ – focusing on 9 major behavioural influences – Teressa will cover the actions that can be taken to make a real difference to both business outcomes and staff engagement, and how sometimes simple actions can be used to create real change.
Following Teresa’s presentation there will be time to discuss ideas for creating and maintain inclusive cultures within your own business.
