Business Club: What it takes to create an award winning business
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are widely considered as the most prestigious business award in the UK. They are awarded for outstanding achievement by a UK business in innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.
Since the first award was presented in 1965, over 1400 businesses have received the coveted awards.
In 2017, Bedfordshire-based Ecotile Flooring were named as one of only five firms to win not one, but two awards in the innovation and international trade categories.
At the next Business Club, we will be joined by Ecotile’s CEO and founder, James Gedye. During the session James will share how Ecotile has evolved from its beginnings in a North London Garden Shed to the successful international business it is today. He will discuss what it takes to create and award-winning business, the highs and lows and their secrets to success.
Questions and contributions from attendees will be encouraged for an interactive session.
