WMT Chartered Accountants advise on sale of The Soho Sandwich Company to Around Noon Foods
08/06/2023
WMT Chartered Accountants is delighted to have been the lead corporate finance advisor in the sale of The Soho Sandwich Company to Around Noon Foods.
Around Noon, the fast-growing food-to-go (FTG) manufacturer, has acquired London-based Soho Sandwich Company to create an enlarged group with 800 employees and revenues of over £80 million per annum. The acquisition of The Soho Sandwich Company also brings state-of-the-art production facilities and a range of blue-chip clients.
The Soho Sandwich Company Ltd has been operating for over 23 years having grown from its original base as a small coffee shop in North London. A dynamic producer and supplier of premium quality sandwiches, Soho is one of London’s leading producers of food to go by using high-quality ingredients and has grown to a turnover of £26m. Soho’s growth, product quality, state-of-the-art facilities and talented team all attracted the interest of Around Noon.
The Soho Sandwich Company will continue to operate under its own brand within the Around Noon Group and will continue to service its existing multi-sector portfolio of customers across food service, retail, events and hospitality. The company will also continue to be managed by its existing MD Daniel Silverston.
Around Noon was established in 1989, based in Newry, Northern Ireland and manufactures and supplies sandwiches and food-to-go. The acquisition represents a continuation of Around Noon’s growth strategy in the food production sector, further increasing the size of the group and notably its capabilities within England.
Andrew Williamson of WMT was the Corporate Finance advisor for Soho. He said: “We are delighted to have been able to advise on this deal, obtaining the best deal for the shareholders.”
