Budget date confirmed

We wait a year for a Budget and then two come along in the space of six months, with the Chancellor confirming that he will deliver his autumn Budget on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at the same time as announcing the outcome of the Spending Review.

While we already have news of forthcoming increases in the rates of Corporation Tax for many firms, National Insurance Contributions and Dividend Tax, as well as the temporary suspension of the triple-lock on the state pension, all eyes will be on the Chancellor to see what else he has planned to reduce the budget deficit and, ultimately, debt.
