Boost for hospitality as WMT Chartered Accountants and Solutions 4 Caterers announce strategic partnership
WMT Chartered Accountants and Solutions 4 Caterers have announced a strategic partnership to boost the hospitality sector as it recovers from the Coronavirus pandemic.
The strategic partnership will see the two firms working together to deliver a comprehensive range of accountancy, tax and business support services to clients in the hospitality sector.
Full-service accountancy, tax and business advisory firm, WMT already acts for some of the UK’s leading hospitality businesses and has a dedicated hospitality team headed up by Partner, Peter Davies.
Meanwhile, Solutions 4 Caterers, founded by Peter Flaxman in 2003, provides a wide range of administrative and advisory services to the sector, all geared towards helping catering businesses grow.
The deal also brings in Opsyte, a cloud-based accounting, bookkeeping and staff rostering app, established by Matt Taylor and which is part of the Hospitality Solutions Group with Solutions 4 Caterers.
Peter Davies, Hospitality Partner at WMT Chartered Accountants, said: “The hospitality sector has been rocked by some of the biggest challenges in generations over the last year.
“We are now hopeful that the coming months will see the sector able to reopen and that pent-up demand will lead to a reversal in fortunes for the thousands of businesses that have been unable to trade for much of the last 12 months.
“This will not be an easy task and hospitality businesses will need a lot of support to get their businesses back off the ground and make a return to profitability.
“Our strategic partnership with Solutions 4 Caterers is a welcome boost for the sector, bringing together a wide range of services to support businesses through the recovery.
“We are looking forward to working with Peter and Matt.”
Peter Flaxman, Director at Solutions 4 Caterers, added: “This strategic partnership will enable us to provide a wide range of services and pool our combined expertise to support hospitality businesses to grow out of the crisis.
“There is good reason to be optimistic about the future of hospitality, but we are under no illusion that the coming months will be tough and that businesses will need extensive support.”
