Preparing for Brexit
Whilst there is no certainty around how business should be preparing for Brexit – whether there is a deal or no deal – there are some steps you can be taking now to be ready for the outcome. We share some helpful guidance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Committed to helping businesses across the UK to succeed, whatever the economic conditions, members of the ICAEW, such as WMT – Chartered Accountants, have pooled their collective brainpower to produce resources to help all businesses.
The ICAEW’s ‘preparing for Brexit checklist’ gives 10 areas to think about along with links to additional information or support that you might find helpful.
Also in the ICAEW’s Brexit hub, you will find helpful webinars designed as practical guides for business owners and directors preparing for Brexit. Try the ‘What businesses need to do now’ webinar for practical actions you can think about doing now. It follows the same topics as the ‘Preparing for Brexit’ checklist.
The third useful information source that the ICAEW provides will give access to helpful government resources. It is designed to help you find the government documents you need quickly, saving you the time and effort of wading through hundreds of Brexit materials.
For help and advice on preparing for Brexit, please contact your usual WMT advisor or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your concerns, and we’ll put you in touch with the best person to help you resolve them.
