Cyber security alert

A number of local banks have advised us of a cyber security risk that has come to their attention. The risk involves hackers sending emails to advise an organisation has changed its bank details. The emails appear to come from contacts within the organisation.

Please be aware of this risk and note that we will never change our bank account details without notifying you in a secure manner. Certainly, we would never notify you by email.

If in any doubt, please confirm verbally with a known source within WMT.
