New Corporate Tax Director for WMT
01/08/2018
We are delighted to welcome Victoria Nicoll as our new Corporate Tax Director. Victoria will be working closely with companies and owner-managers to achieve the best tax outcomes available for their company and their personal wealth.
Bringing a wealth of experience gained from working with a Big 4 practice and notable regional firm, Price Bailey, Victoria tackles corporate tax challenges from three angles. She works with businesses to set an overall tax strategy and plan for changes succession and exit; makes sure transactions – such as business sales or acquisitions – are as tax-efficient as possible; and maximises the available tax reliefs available to companies, such as research and development credits.
Victoria joins the firm at an exciting time as it has recently opened a London office and moved its St Albans headquarters to new offices at Verulam Point, next to the City train station.
Commenting on her appointment, Victoria said: ‘I’m looking forward to helping WMT’s clients make the best of their tax positions. As a corporate tax specialist with a solid understanding of personal tax considerations, I enable companies to balance the tax considerations for the business with those of individuals. Owner-managed businesses and corporates with growth plans really benefit from an adviser with this dual perspective.’
Anne-Maree Dunn, WMT Tax Partner said: ‘Victoria’s expertise complements the needs of our corporate client’s perfectly. She is skilled in advising on tax strategy at all stages of the business life-cycle and valuable reliefs for growing business. We’re delighted she has joined us to support the continued growth of the practice.’
