The new Chancellor, Philip Hammond, this week delivered what is to be his first and also his last Autumn Statement announcement.
It is expected that there will be a period of uncertainty as the UK negotiates its departure from the EU, hence the Chancellor delivered a statement that focused on “preparing and supporting the economy” during this time.
As a whole it provided few announcements that are likely to require immediate action by many businesses or individuals. However, our summary highlights some of the key announcements that business owners and private individuals should be aware of.
