Autumn Statement 2015
George Osborne’s first Autumn Statement of this Parliament put the spending review center stage, focusing on plans to create economic growth. It said little of tax changes but there were some surprises buried in the detail of the press releases.
Our summary focuses on the changes to taxation that are likely to affect our clients. It highlights key announcements, plans and measures and provides further information on some of the proposals introduced in the March and July budgets, which have been subject to consultation with interested parties. Draft legislation relating to many of these areas will be published on 9 December 2015 and some of the details may change as a result.
