House prices on the rise
UK house prices increased by 5.5% in the year to April 2015. In England, these increases were driven by an annual increase in the East (9.6%) and the South East (8.4%). Those holding residential property in their investment portfolio should consider how the continued rise in property values may affect their wealth planning – particularly in relation to inheritance tax.
