Yogesh Dhanak

Private Client Tax Manager

Managing the self assessment tax compliance for a portfolio of various client types, Yogesh spends his days identifying tax planning opportunities that arise out of tax compliance work and advising clients on tax mitigation opportunities and tax efficient remuneration planning. He identifies and assists in planning for Inheritance Tax mitigation for high net worth clients as well as advising property landlords on compliance and capital gains tax planning.

Always amicable and calm Yogi quickly develops strong relationships. He spends time liaising with teams internally to ensure a holistic service to clients, not only for their personal taxes but also business taxes and ensuring tax efficiencies are identified, implemented and regularly reviewed.

Yogi enjoys the direct interaction with clients, gaining an overall view of clients’ circumstances. He thrives on being part of a challenging environment that requires keeping up-to-date with the latest industry developments, keeping him motivated to lead the tax team.

When he’s not talking all things tax, Yogi loves spending time with friends and family over weekends, enjoying eating out and the movies. He also enjoys the occasional game of badminton, squash or cricket – in fact he has been acting as the honorary treasurer for Watford Town Cricket Club for a number of years. And he can solve the Rubik’s Cube in less than 90 seconds!
