Pod Talent specialises in recruiting staff for the supply chain, procurement, logistics and manufacturing sectors. They work for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The founder was keen to grow the business. He had a clear vision of how to go about it and realised that strong financial controls and informative management reporting would be essential to keep them on track.

Staying focused

The management team were keen to focus on what they do best – motivating and developing their team to deliver a great service for their clients. They felt that outsourcing their support requirements for finance, tax, management information and payroll to WMT would be just the right thing. It would provide the expert accounting, tax and administrative support they needed without having to recruit and manage staff to perform these roles. This approach would allow them to concentrate on their priorities and keep their business growing at the right pace.

Creating space, providing insight

WMT worked with the founder to establish a business structure and to set up an outsourced function in our offices – a function that could expand as Pod Talent grew. We also dealt with their tax compliance and planning needs, including VAT reporting, tax returns and tax efficient remuneration.

Our team now provides regular management information reports, which are designed around Pod Talent’s business-critical performance measures, so the leadership team can see exactly how well it is progressing. There is ongoing dialogue between Pod Talent and WMT, plus a quarterly meeting. The meeting gives us the opportunity to celebrate progress, iron out any performance issues concerning the business and check they have all the help they need from us to achieve their goals.
